Luxury dining in Guwahati got a new destination from Friday with the inauguration of The Royal Crown in presence of leading Assamese actress Barsha Rani Bishaya. The Royal Crown, situated at I-tag Plaza, Next to Rajiv Bhawan, ABC, GS Road, Guwahati, offers a multi-cuisine experience with live music, live kitchen, low-height seating space, mood lighting and midnight bar.

With a capacity of over 110 people, The Royal Crown is decked up with a royal ambiance – from wall paintings to the decor. The low-height seating space for around 36 people is designed to offer a great Jaipuri ambiance experience.

“The Royal Crown offers a unique experience for the guests. We serve Indian, Tandoor, Oriental cuisines besides offering a great blend of live music every evening. We have three days of unplugged music along with one each day of Bollywood, Sufi and Ghazal. The place welcomes families and friends who want to enjoy a great luxury culinary experience,” said Himangshu Baruah, manager at The Royal Crown.

Speaking on the occasion, leading Assamese actress Barsha Rani Bishaya said that the ambiance at The Royal Crown is to look out for. “Eating out is always fun when you get the right mix of great food and great ambiance. I think the Royal Crown ticks the right boxes when it comes to food and ambiance. I am happy to be here today, and will surely come again,” said Barsha Rani Bishaya.

The restaurant offers a wide range of Indian, Tandoor, Chinese, Thai and Continental cuisines. “We have a wide range of appetizers, soups, salads, main course as well as deserts. There is a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Besides this, we have a live kitchen for the vegetarians where we don’t use ginger, garlic etc,” said Chef Madan Mohan Baruah.

The chef added that the bar section includes cocktails and mocktails in premium and standard ranges. Among other facilities, the place offers valet parking for around 40 cars and also home delivery.
