Popular stand-up comedian Zakir Khan will be performing at the ITA Machkhowa in Guwahati on June 22.
The famous ‘Sakht Launda’ will be presenting a brand new stand up special act in Guwahati. Known popularly for his catchphrases like ‘Sakht Launda’, the Zakir has the ability to highlight comic elements in everyday life. He is known for his ‘uniquely Indian’ style of comedy, which involves him impeccably catching on the emotions that are common to every Indian household and youngsters struggling to make it big in India.
“I am happy to inform you that I am performing in Guwahati yet again. Earlier, I visited Guwahati 4 times. This will be my 5th performance in Guwahati and I am sure it will be 5 times more fun. See you at the ITA Machkhowa on June 22,” said Zakir Khan.
The organizers – OML Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Comedy Circit – mentioned that they are expecting a full house on the occasion as the tickets are selling in numbers.
“We are happy to bring Zakir Khan to perform in Guwahati. He is a mass entertainer and we are sure that the people in Guwahati will love his new performance,” said Saurabh Abbi, managing partner at OML Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Interestingly, OML is the organizer of the Northeast region’s largest musical extravaganza – Bacardi NH7 Weekender in Meghalaya.
Prior to Guwahati, Zakir Khan will perform in Siliguri on June 21.
Speaking about Zakir’s show in Guwahati, Pratik Kedia from Comedy Circuit, said that he is thrilled to bring the nation’s stand-up superstar to this part of the country. “Zakir is performing a brand new act in Guwahati. Watch out for our Sakht Launda,” said Pratik Kedia, from Comedy Circuit who organizes various comedy shows in East and Northeast India.
