UK records highest daily COVID-related death toll since March

Arunachal Pradesh reported four new cases of COVID-19 on June 16, taking the total number of cases to 99.

Out of the new cases, three were reported from worst-affected Changlang district and one from Itanagar Capital Complex.

Changlang district reported highest number of COVID-19 cases. With three new cases, total number of cases reported so far in the district stand at 60.

“All the cases have been detected from facility quarantine. All are asymptomatic and shifted to COVID Care Centre,” as per the bulletin issued on June 16 by the state Directorate of Health Services.

The four persons who tested positive had returned to the state from other states, the bulletin said.

Of the 99 cases reported so far in Arunachal, total number of active cases in the state stand at 92 while seven patients were discharged after they recovered from the disease.
