Assam BJP state President Ranjit Dass on June 29 appealed to the party workers to help the flood victims in the state.
Nearly 23 districts in the state have come under the grip of flood which has affected more than nine lakh people in the state.
“I urge all the BJP workers in the state, amid COVID-19 pandemic, to extend help to the flood affected people by maintaining social distancing,” Dass said in a Facebook post.
Dass said that the Assam government has made all arrangements to provide relief materials to the flood-affected people.
He urged party members to ensure that the relief materials reach the needy on time.
