Hockey Mizoram has launched its own official website for better functioning as a state member unit. The new website will contain the latest information on the efforts taken by Hockey Mizoram to grow the sport of hockey in the state.
It will also include basic information of all the players from Hockey Mizoram.
As a major step towards going paperless and making data easily accessible – players, coaches and technical officials from Mizoram will be registered through the website.
Hockey enthusiasts in Mizoram can also find information on the executive committee of Hockey Mizoram on the website hockeymizoram.org
“Hockey Mizoram website will be a one-stop destination for all the fans and players to find documents regarding the constitution, annual reports, audit statements and information regarding all Hockey Mizoram district bodies as well,” a statement said.
Mizoram sports and youth services minister Robert Romawia Ralte inaugurated the website during a function on October 7.
The sports minister stated that since hockey is being enthusiastically played by many youngsters in Mizoram, the state government is also taking an initiative for the construction of a hockey ground at Lunglei Salem Veng.
The achievements of Hockey Mizoram in the domestic circuit and the achievements of individual players from the state at the international stage will also be listed on the website.
