Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a youth conclave in Nagaland’s Peren district on October 20.

The conclave was attended by local youth, school and college dropout students of Peren town and nearby villages.

The aim of the conclave was to discuss about the importance of positive thoughts, hard work and perseverance which can bring about meaningful and impactful changes in the society.

It was also highlighted that if youth work with the intent to evolve our society for a better tomorrow and strive to excellence in the respective fields, they can bring about any changes.

The conclave conducted by senior officials of the Assam Rifles also underlined the need of addressing adolescent and youth health issues as the two make for the biggest social group. It also addresses the range of social issues like drug addiction, unemployment, violence etc.

They were also made aware that a concerted effort is required to address such challenges by the youth.
