Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh

Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh called upon BJP functionaries and workers to work hard so that the party comes out with impressive poll results.

“You know BJP is leading a coalition government now. We have to work hard to get an absolute majority this time (in the assembly elections),” he told a gathering of BJP workers in Imphal on January 9.

The chief minister then said that there is the need for BJP leaders and workers to work harder concentrating on the grassroots level. “We have to give full emphasis on constituency-wise and area-wise as we need to work at the micro level together,” CM Biren Singh further said.

“If we work hard together, we will be successful,” the chief minister added.

Also speaking on the occasion, BJP Manipur Pradesh president, A Sarda Devi, said that Manipur is now seeing the light of development “as the BJP government at the Centre is giving priority in the all-round development of the Northeast region of the country”.

She then urged the party workers to work together to ensure the BJP emerging absolute majority and continues the development work in the state.

Sarda assured that she will work at her best level to bring changes towards development so that Manipur becomes one of the fastest growing states of the country.
