The opportunity is knocking at the doors of aspiring young footballers of Assam as ISL winner Hyderabad FC is conducting open trails in Kokrajhar to scout young talents.

The trials for under 15 will be held on June 20 at the KDSA field, near Kokrajhar Government College at Bagansali in Kokrajhar while for the under 18 team, the trials will be held on June 21 at the same venue.

The selected players from both age groups will be invited for the final trials on June 22.

The trials are open to club, academy and school level footballers only.

The players are asked to bring two passport-size photographs, their birth certificates and either an Aadhaar card or Passport for the trials. They also need to bring their own water bottles and snacks.

For the under 15, the players should be born between 2008 to 2009 and for the under 18 age group, the aspirants should be born between 2005 to 2006.

The selected players from the final trials will be part of the Hyderabad youth teams.

“The champions of India are searching for you! You can be a part of our history so don’t miss this moment. Come and give us your best, and enjoy yourselves, by doing the simple things right,” said Hyderabad FC’s technical director Thangboi Singto.

“I believe that there are four attributes that are crucial for every player’s development – the technical ability, the tactical ability, the physical and the mental strength. For youngsters who will attend these trials, we will focus on their technical abilities but more importantly, their decision-making abilities in pressure and game situations.”

The interested candidates can contact Daimalu Basumatary and Danswarang Basumatary for more information.

Kokrajhar lad Halicharan Narzary has been a part of Hyderabad FC since 2020-21.

Their upcoming trails will be held in Shillong from June 25 to 27. They have already conducted open trials in Namchi and Aizawl.
