Northeast Frontier Railway (NF Railway) will run a summer special train between New Jalpaiguri and Santragachi for eight trips in both directions from June 10 to July 30 to clear the summer rush of passengers.
Train no 08047 (Santragachi – New Jalpaiguri Special), will depart from Santragachi at 6 pm on all Fridays from June 10 till July 29 to reach New Jalpaiguri at 5.15 am on every Saturdays.
Train no 08048 (New Jalpaiguri – Santragachi Special), will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 12.15 pm on all Saturdays from June 11 till July 30 to reach Santragachi at 11.45 pm on the same day, NF Railway informed.
During its both ways journey, the special train will have stoppages at Dankuni, Barddhaman, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Barsoi, Kishanganj and Aluabari Road stations.
The summer special train will consist of 21 coaches. There will be two seating-luggage rakes, one AC Two Tier, three AC Three Tier, 12 Sleeper Class and three Second Class General coaches.
