ACA Stadium, Barsapara in Guwahati

Both Indian and South African teams will arrive in Guwahati on September 29 to play the second match of the ongoing T20 bilateral series which is scheduled to be held at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara in Guwahati.

Assam Cricket Association (ACA) officials said that both the teams and officials will land in Guwahati at around 4.15 pm on a chartered flight from Thiruvananthapuram where both the teams played their first match.

India registered a convincing 8-wicket victory in the match.

Both teams will be staying at the Radisson Blu hotel.

The tickets for this match have already been sold out. The first lot of the tickets were released online through BookMyShow on September 16 and the second phase started on September 26.

Like earlier times, there will be restrictions on items that can be taken inside the stadium. Also, several restrictions on the movement of vehicles will be placed for smooth conduct of the match, which is being played during the Durga Puja festivities.

Earlier in January 2020, India was scheduled to play against Sri Lanka at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara in a T20I match which was abandoned due to rain and poor playing conditions.

At Barsapara, in 2017, India played against Australia in a T20 and after that in 2018 West Indies came to play an ODI here. Apart from that, England women played three T20 matches here against the Indian women’s team.
