International football player Ngangom Bala Devi was honoured by the Manipur government by appointing here as inspector, Manipur Police on January 20.
Chief minister N Biren Singh attended the pinning ceremony held at the CM Secretariat in Imphal.
Bala Devi is a decorated football star and is the first Indian to join a European club.
