Aakash BYJU’S recently organised a zoom counselling and guidance session in Guwahati for the students where the NEET-UG 2023 qualifiers received a comprehensive input vis-à-vis the expected cut-off marks of government and private colleges, the characteristics of the national and state-wise counselling processes along with the specific documents required in them and the method how colleges are hand-picked.

Career counselling expert of NEET-UG from Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) Amit Arora, addressed the online session and resolved many doubts the students and their parents had concerning the national and state-wise counselling processes for medical courses.

More than 700 students and parents participated in the session.

The resource person advised the students to expect a 15-mark increase in the cut-off marks from that of the last year, meaning, a student has to score 10 to 15 more marks this year to achieve the same rank as last year.

To secure a seat in a government college through the all-India counselling process, a general-category student needs to obtain 605 marks this year, he added.

This session helped students to clear their doubts and improve the intensity in chasing their dreams of aspiring their careers in the Medical field.

“Parents and students not only expressed their satisfaction and happiness but also thanked Aakash BYJU’S team and system for bringing to them the best quality education and helping in achieving their dreams,” said a statement from the institute.

The zoom session concluded with the pledge to sticking to goals and indulging themselves in achieving their dreams.
