Security forces arrested an overground worker (OGW) of the Naga insurgent group, National Socialist Council of Nagalim-Isaak Muivah (NSCN-IM), from Changlang in Arunachal Pradesh on August 9.
“Based on a specific input, Assam Rifles in a joint operation with state police apprehended one OGW of NSCN (IM) and recovered one mobile phone from general area BN Colony, Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh on August 9,” a release from the Assam Rifles said.
The apprehended OGW along with the recovered item has been handed over to the Changlang police station for further investigation, it said.
