Police in Meghalaya October 17 arrested a drug peddler and seized Amphetamine tablets worth Rs 1.5 crore from his possession.
After information about the movement of the tablets in huge quantity, police set up a naka near a fuel station in Nongsning and intercepted an inter-state bus.
On searching the passenger’s baggage, police recovered 1.017 Kg of Amphetamine from the suitcase of one passenger identified as Joseph Hmangaih Zuala.
