Kamakhya-Rajendra Nagar Capital Express gets new stoppage at Aluabari Road station

In a step towards providing convenience to rail travellers, additional stoppage for two minutes has been provided on train no. 13247/13248 (Kamakhya – Rajendra Nagar – Kamakhya) Capital Express at Aluabari Road station in West Bengal.

Raiganj MP Debasree Chaudhuri flagged off the Capital Express with new stoppage at Aluabari Road station on December 27. Senior railway officials from division and others were present on the occasion.

Train no. 13247 (Kamakhya – Rajendra Nagar) Capital Express will arrive Aluabari Road station at 4:58 pm and depart at 5 pm.

In the return journey train no. 13248 (Rajendra Nagar – Kamakhya) Capital Express will arrive Aluabari Road station at 10:15 am and depart at 10:17 am.

“This new stoppage of the train will provide another option for rail commuters of the areas for their journey towards their destinations. The details of stoppages and timings of this train are available at IRCTC website and through NTES. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey,” said a statement from NF Railway.

On the same day in another programme, Raiganj MP Debasree Chaudhuri laid the foundation stone for raising the height of the platform and construction of RBG room at Kanki railway station. On this occasion, local MLA along with senior officers of the division and others were present.

Raising of platform will help in easy boarding in train as well as de-boarding from train for passengers, the statement from NF Railway added.
