With four MLAs, former Bihar Chief Minister and National President of Hindustani Awam Morcha Jitan Ram Manjhi has emerged as a crucial factor for the next government in Bihar.

To avoid any dent in the NDA and to ensure the number game, BJP state unit president Samrat Chaudhary hurriedly called on Manjhi on Saturday.

Both leaders closeted nearly for half an hour and discussed the changing political scenario in Bihar. However the details of the meeting remained secret as Chaudhary preferred to avoid queries of media persons and went back to his party office.

It is learnt that Choudhary called on Manjhi to convince him to remain with NDA. Accompanied by his son Santosh Suman , Manjhi along with other MLAs of his party warmly welcomed Choudhary.

It is learnt that with the sole intention to keep Nitish Kumar at bay from forming a government in alliance with NDA, the RJD even offered the post of deputy chief minister to Santosh Suman who in turn refused to accept the offer.

Manjhi along with his son had already expressed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that his party would contest the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections along with Modi.

Amid political turmoil Manjhi also denied getting any offer from the RJD and claimed that he was very much with NDA.

Taking four MLAs of Manjhi the BJP with 76 MLAs and JDU with 45 can comfortably from the next government as their strength comes up to 125 in the Assembly having a strength of 243 MLAs.
