ANI Photo | Assam education minister distributes 273 appointment letters in various departments

Assam’s education minister Ranoj Pegu ceremonially distributed 273 appointment letters to newly appointed assistant professors, Grade-III, and Grade-IV employees from various Provincialized/PDUAM/government model colleges of the state during a program organized by the Higher Education Department in Guwahati on Friday.

The current administration in Assam has distributed a total of 94,670 appointment letters across various departments thus far.

Ranoj Pegu remarked, “With this recruitment drive, 94,670 youths of the state have been provided jobs. I urge everyone to diligently perform their duties and wholeheartedly guide the students of the state.”

Previously, the Assam chief minister stated, “An additional 35,910 posts have already been advertised, bringing our total job creation target to 1,30,416, surpassing our initial promise of 1,00,000 jobs.”

Senior officials from the education department also graced the occasion with their presence.
