Northeast India’s one of the largest fashion and pageant event organizers, Mega Entertainment, will conduct the Gangtok auditions for the 20th edition of Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East at Nar Bahadur Bhandari College on February 18.
Through these auditions, the pageant organizers will select 50 candidates from across the eight Northeast states, who will vie for the coveted title of Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East 2024.
Apart from this, the Mega Entertainment team conducted auditions in Kokrajhar, Guwahati, Shillong, Agartala and Kohima. The auditions are also happening online.
The pageant has been supported by title sponsor – Sunsilk Serum, cosmetics partner – Dazller Eterna, fashion partner – Butterfly Clothing and Accessories, and hospitality partner – Hotel Daaysco Oley Allo. Guwahati-based PR and Reputation Management consultancy, Life’s Purple, is managing the entire PR and media relations mandate of the event.
Speaking about the upcoming auditions, Abhijeet Singha, founder of Mega Entertainment, said: “The auditions this year have been a very enriching experience. The candidates are strong and extremely well prepared. We are feeling very hopeful about Sikkim as well, since we have had several winners from this state earlier.”
In case any participant is unable to make it to any of these locations, Mega Entertainment team will also accept online applications. Such applicants will need to connect with Mega Entertainment on Instagram/Facebook to take their registration and audition process forward.
The pageant Mega Miss North East is the brainchild of fashionpreneur Abhijeet Singha. It has been produced by Mega Entertainment, and is marketed by Mega Activation. It will feature the most beautiful and talented young women from the eight north eastern states who will travel to Guwahati for the Grand Finale to be held at ITA Machkhowa on March 2.
In a groundbreaking move, Mega Entertainment has redefined pageantry, eliminating the conventional concept of runners-up. The top-3 contestants will collectively earn the prestigious title of Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East 2024. This innovative approach ensures that each victor holds an equal and significant position of honor. Having navigated through fierce competition against 47 other contestants, all three individuals have proven their mettle, solidifying their status as true champions in their own right.
All the three winners will win a prize package of Rs 1,00,000 each. Additionally, they will win travel opportunities, professional representation from Mega Entertainment, brand engagements, shoots, appearances at youth and fashion events, and public relations and reputation management for the reigning term from Life’s Purple.
