The grand finale of 20th edition of Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East will be held at ITA Cultural Complex, Guwahati, on March 2. The announcement was made by leading fashion and pageant event organizer Mega Entertainment.
The pageant has been supported by title sponsor – Sunsilk Serum, cosmetic partner – Dazller Eterna, fashion partner – Butterfly Clothing and Accessories, and hospitality partner – Hotel Daaysco Oley Allo.

Singha also mentioned that the pageant has eliminated the concept of runners up, and all three winners of the pageant will be crowned equally and will receive equal rewards and opportunities. He added that the winners of the pageant also have the opportunity to represent India at reputed international pageants. “With our 20th edition, we are proud to announce that not one, but two of our winners will have the honor of representing India on prestigious international platforms- Top Model of Universe in Turkey and the Miss Continental World in Thailand. So, while the pageant is a representation of the talent from northeast India, we also aim to open up international opportunities for our winners and showcase their skills on global platforms”, added Abhijeet.
Mega Miss North East is the brainchild of fashionpreneur Abhijeet Singha. It has been produced by Mega Entertainment, and is marketed by Mega Activation. Guwahati-based Reputation Management consultancy, Life’s Purple, is the official PR partner of the event.
All the three winners will win a prize package of Rs 1,00,000 each. Additionally, they will win travel opportunities, professional representation from Mega Entertainment, brand engagements, shoots, appearances at youth and fashion events, and public relations and reputation management for the reigning term from Life’s Purple.
Apart from the main winners, there will also be a series of subtitles that the contestants will be vying for. They are Sunsilk Serum Miss Shine Queen, Hotel Daaysco Oley Allo Miss Congeniality, Dazller Eterna Miss Glamourous, Butterfly Miss Fashion Icon.
The top-5 contestants will feature apparels by Butterfly Clothing and Accessories, one of the fastest growing brands in Shillong. Founded by Strenuousland Marwein and Rishan Pariat, Butterfly Clothing and Accessories has won numerous awards.
