The much-awaited 2024 edition of the Prag Cine Awards is set to captivate audiences as renowned Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam takes center stage for a stellar performance.

Organized by AM Television Pvt Ltd, the annual awards ceremony will be held at Jorhat, promising an unforgettable night of glamour and recognition.

In 2023, the prestigious event was hosted at the USTM Auditorium in Meghalaya, but this year, the cultural city of Jorhat will play host to the luminaries of the Indian film industry on February 16.

Akshata Narain, group president of AM Television Pvt Ltd, in a social media post expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response from Jorhat, stating: “And we begin work for Prag Cine Awards 2024 to be held at Jorhat on 16th February. Truly overwhelmed by the response and love we have received in Jorhat. And always grateful for my amazing dream team.”

Singer Sonu Nigam, known for his soulful voice and versatile singing style, is set to enchant the audience with a mesmerizing performance. The multi-talented artist has an extensive discography, including hits like “Kal Ho Naa Ho”, “Tum Jo Aaye”, and “Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin”. Sonu Nigam‘s presence at the awards ceremony is expected to add a musical touch that will resonate with attendees.

Sanjive Narain, chief managing director of AM Television and chief patron of Prag Cine Awards, revealed that this year’s ceremony will honor achievements across 38 categories. A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the esteemed Lifetime Achievement Award to veteran actor Dinesh Das. This recognition acknowledges Das’s outstanding contribution to the Assamese film industry, cementing his legacy in the hearts of fans and peers.
