Union minister and BJP candidate for Dibrugarh Lok Sabha seat, Sarbananda Sonowal, on March 20 slammed the Congress and its allies, dubbing them as “flag bearers of nepotism, corruption and division”.

Addressing public meetings in Dibrugarh, Sonowal said: “It is heartening to witness such an enthusiastic response from both BJP and AGP the party cadres as we join our shakti to win people’s mandate.”

“Congress and its allies are flag bearers of nepotism, corruption, division and corruption. The BJP-led NDA, on the other hand, champions the heritage of Bharat to build a robust foundation of a nation that aims at development and prosperity,” he added.

On the occasion of the BJP’s foundation day on April 6, he appealed to the party cadres to hoist the party flag at their homes.

He especially asked all the office bearers of every Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency booth committee to participate in the programme.
