ANI Photo | Pitroda’s remark shows mentality of Congress: UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya came down heavily on former Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda over his racist rant against Indians and said that the poison that is filled inside the Congress has been released for the countrymen.
Maurya said that although the Congress has accepted Pitroda’s resignation, the party will not be able to save itself from the poison that has been spewed by him.
“The poison that is filled inside the Congress has been released for the countrymen. Congress has accepted his resignation but they will not be able to save themselves from the poison that has been spewed by him. How dirty are the thoughts of Congress? Their thoughts for the people of India have become clear as a part of our India was compared with the Chinese, who, during the Congress government, have our land of 62 thousand square kilometers including Kailash Mansarovar under their control,” the Deputy CM said.
He further alleged that due to the Congress, Pakistan still has a part of Jammu and Kashmir under their control.
“Because of the Congress in the country, Pakistan still has a part of Jammu and Kashmir under its control. Due to the Congress, the sin of inviting terrorism was committed by imposing article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir,” Maurya said.
Stirring a major controversy in the middle of the Lok Sabha polls, Pitroda unleashed a racist rant while expanding on people of different ethnicities who made India their home.
Pitroda, in an interview with ‘The Statesman’, said, “We have survived 75 years in a very happy environment where people could live together, leaving aside a few fights here and there. We could hold a country together as diverse as India, where people in the East look like Chinese, people in the West look like Arab, people in the North look like white and maybe people in the South look like Africans.”
Faced with fury from the BJP and criticism from a cross-section of Opposition leaders, Pitroda tendered his resignation as the chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress on Wednesday
