Assam defeated Hyderabad by 18 runs in their Elite Group B Ranji Trophy match in Hyderabad on December 30.
With this win, Assam pocketed 6 points from the match.
On the last day of the four-day match, Hyderabad started the day with 22 runs needed for victory while Assam needed 1 wicket.
All-rounder Riyan Parag took the last Hyderabad batter Kartikeya Kak to provide victory for Assam.
