Guwahati’s Nazneen Rahman has stormed into the top 10 of the ITF Masters Ranking (45+) in the mixed doubles according to its latest ranking released on March 18

Nazneen Rahman, hailing from Guwahati, has made a remarkable ascent into the top 10 of the ITF Masters Ranking (45+) in mixed doubles, as per the most recent rankings released on March 18.

Nazneen has soared 5 positions to secure the 9th spot in the latest rankings. In the Asia/Oceania region, she holds the second position, while in India, she reigns at the top.

“It’s truly exhilarating to break into the top 10. I’ve had a phenomenal start to the season. My rigorous pre-season fitness regimen has been instrumental in keeping me injury-free and at the pinnacle of my performance,” expressed Nazneen with elation.

“I aim to sustain this momentum going forward. I’m immensely grateful to my partner Dilip Mohanty for his invaluable mentorship and support. Additionally, I extend my gratitude to my coach and husband, Shahnawaz Zaffar, whose unwavering encouragement has been the driving force behind my success.”

Earlier this month, Nazneen Rahman clinched the runners-up title in the women’s singles event (45+) at the World Tennis Masters MT 200 Dubai Open 2024.

Following that triumph, she secured the mixed doubles (45+) title at the MT400 Jhajjar Tournament, partnering with Dilip Mohanty. In the women’s doubles (40+), she finished as the runner-up.
